A long-time tax attorney and former global tax manager at Bechtel Group Inc., Mark A. Muntean, has been indicted in Oakland, Calif., on two charges of aiding in filing a false tax return on behalf of Bechtel. Muntean's attorney John Youngquist hotly defended his client's actions, calling him "clearly not guilty of the charges" and pledging to take the case to trial.
