Western State University College of Law, based in Fullerton, Calif., is the oldest law school in Orange County. Founded in 1966, the law school is provisionally approved for accreditation by the American Bar Association.
The new owner, Knowledge Investment Partners, which was founded in 2002, is a manager of “alternative investments specializing in the education sector,” according to its Web site. The company has addresses in London and Beachwood, Ohio, and professionals in New York, Cleveland, San Francisco and Geneva, Switzerland. Its other investments include Schiller International University, the American College of Switzerland and London City College.
