After more than 20 years as either managing partner or chairman of Blank Rome, David Girard-diCarlo will resign as chairman of the firm, effective Jan. 1, 2009. Litigation department Chairman Alan Hoffman and Washington, D.C., office head and business department leader Thomas Dyer will become co-chairmen of the firm. Carl Buchholz was elected to his second term as the managing partner of the firm, and Philadelphia partner Gary Goldenberg will become finance partner.
