The Section of Labor and Employment Law has more than 20,000 members involved in all aspects of labor and employment law, and includes union and employee lawyers, employer lawyers, neutrals, government lawyers and law students. The section’s 18 standing committees publish numerous treatises, including some of the pre-eminent desktop reference works in the field.

The section plans to expand its emphasis on continuing legal education with its first annual CLE Conference in Philadelphia from Nov. 7 to Nov. 10. This will include a multitracked curriculum focusing on all aspects of labor and employment law and offering sessions of value regardless of the level of experience of practitioners. More than 240 speakers will present at this conference.
