In this breach-of-contract action, PanAmerican Operating, Inc. appeals from the trial court's judgment in favor of the Maud Smith Estate. The evidence is legally and factually sufficient to support the trial court's finding that PanAmerican gave an independent contractor apparent authority: PanAmerican provided the contractor with a " @panamop.com" e mail address, a cubicle in the office, and a company landline to use in his efforts to obtain leases on PanAmerican's behalf, and PanAmerican's president knew the contractor was negotiating a lease. The trial court's judgment is affirmed. El Paso Court of Appeals, No. 08-12-00036-CV, 07-24-2013.
