This appeal arises from a dispute relating to the explosion and sinking of Transocean's Deepwater Horizon in April 2010. The district court found in favor of insurers in their suit seeking a declaratory judgment that they have no additional-insured obligations to BP. The umbrella insurance policy -- not the indemnity provisions of Transocean's and BP's contract -- controls the extent to which BP is covered for its operations under the drilling contract. Because this policy imposes no relevant limitations upon the extent to which BP is covered, the district court's judgment is reversed and remanded. 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, No. 12-30230, 03-01-2013
