FTC Settles With Online Ad Agency That Sniffed Out Web Site Visitors

An online advertising agency agrees to settle Federal Trade Commission charges that it secretly and illegally gathered data from millions of consumers, "sniffing" out the websites people visited in the past and using the information to send targeted ads.
