Latham & Watkins has recruited a Los Angeles-based litigation partner who will focus on China- and Taiwan-related matters.
Yi-Chin Ho was previously a partner with Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, where she was also director of Asia development and strategic growth.
Ho mainly represents Chinese and Taiwanese companies on U.S. litigation, including antitrust, patent and white-collar cases. She also serves as primary outside counsel for a number of those companies, advising them on corporate matters as well as disputes.
In October, Ho advised Taiwanese aftermarket auto lights manufacturer Eagle Eyes Industrial Traffic Co. Ltd., on reaching a $5 million settlement with the U.S. government over price-fixing charges.
