Clifford Chance London partner Caroline Jury has relocated to the firm's Sydney office.
The move by the lending and leverage specialist -- who has spent her entire 22-year career with Clifford Chance, most of the last 15 years as partner -- is an attempt to bolster the firm's finance practice Down Under.
She joins partner Scott Bache, who relocated to Sydney from Hong Kong in 2011 in order to lead the newly created Australia finance team. He was previously head of Clifford Chance's restructuring practice in Asia.
Including Bache and Jury, the local finance group is now up to 12 lawyers. There are a total of 55 lawyers working for Clifford Chance in Australia, including 17 partners. The firm employs more than 2,500 lawyers worldwide.
