Gov. Chris Christie nominated two attorneys Hudson County Prosecutor Edward DeFazio and Mendham litigator Peter Bogaard to the Superior Court bench on Monday.
DeFazio, a Jersey City Democrat, has been the Hudson prosecutor since 2002. Before that, from 2001 until 2002, he was a Superior Court judge in Hudson County, leaving that position when he was nominated to the prosecutor’s post.
