Clearwell Platform to Search Third-Party Indexes With Keyword Filter

Clearwell Systems, the manufacturer of the E-Discovery Platform, announced enhancements to its Identification and Collection module, which include the ability to search multiple IT resources using keywords. This new federated search aims to query existing third-party indexes to content stored on premise or in a hosted, aka cloud, environment.

kCura Rolls New Relativity 7 'Back to the Reviewer'

kCura, maker of the Relativity review platform and the Method legal hold application, released the latest version of Relativity 7 today. Since most of the 40,000 people using kCura in a month are engaged in document review, says kCura President and CEOAndrew Sieja, the new review platform aims to go "back to the reviewer" with new improvements in document viewing and coding, as well as new tools for case managers to build custom applications and workspaces.

Nextpoint Preserves Websites and Social Media for the Record

Many organizations have learned to preserve forms of electronic data like e-mail for litigation, but websites and social media content can be an archival problem when it comes to e-discovery and compliance. Enter Nextpoint, a trial support software and services provider, whose Cloud Preservation product creates an archive of content from cloud-based resources like websites, blogs, and Facebook.

Exterro Adds Zeta Data Management Tool to Fusion Platform

Exterro added Zeta, a data management tool, to its Fusion platform, which already includes a workflow engine, collaboration framework, and an ESI vault, as well as software modules for data mapping, legal hold, and workflow management. Zeta adds the ability to analyze data relevant to litigation or an investigation, more commonly known as early case assessment, and then cull and collect the information and place it in a storage container.
