U.S. District Court Magistrate Judge David Waxse of the District of Kansas has rejected the federal government's application for search warrants against Yahoo!, Google, and three other internet giants. Waxse held that the warrants, which requested all emails and electronic communications for accounts alleged to have been involved in a criminal scheme, were overly broad and violated the Fourth Amendment.
