Konica Minolta Corporate Announcements

Ramsey, N.J.-based Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A. Inc., a provider of enterprise hardware and software, announced Tuesday the launch of Corporate Announcements, an application for businesses to display internal messages on Konica Minolta's bizhub line of multifunctional printers.

The PC-based application allows administrators to define messages such as corporate policies, new products, ad campaigns, and legal market announcements and distribute them to one or more bizhub MFPs on a network. Announcements can be viewed and managed using the MFP's control panel as a screensaver when the machine is inactive, and can also be paused and repeated using the software's simple navigation. Administrators can view active ads as thumbnail images to see on which device they will display, and can customize how long each message will be displayed.

Corporate Announcements supports .jpg, .png, .bmp, .gif, and animated .gif file types. Printers running the software require Kinoca Minolta's i-Option software and an i-Option memory upgrade.

Press release.
