Seattle-based WordRake, a legal editing software provider, announced a strategic alliance with the Washington State Bar Association to offer its 35,000 members the editing software at a discount under the WSBA's Law Office Management Assistance program.
Once WordRake is installed, legal professionals can compose a document in Microsoft Word and hit the "Rake" button for the software to detect and highlight legalese that adds no meaning. Users can accept or reject the proposed changes.
WordRake is available on the WSBA website for 25 cents per day with the association's discount members enter the coupon code "wsba" upon purchase. WordRake requires Microsoft Windows 7, Windows Vista, or Windows XP and Word 2007 or the 32-bit version of 2010.
