Bala Cynwyd, Penn.-based legal software integrator Prosperoware announces the release of Ascera for SharePoint, a tool designed to help integrate HP Autonomy's document management system iManage WorkSite with Microsoft SharePoint intranets and extranets.

Ascera is a browser-based tool that uses SharePoint's native functionality to publish WorkSite content directly to SharePoint document libraries. Users can work with WorkSite documents, folders, and workspaces within the SharePoint interface and can search for WorkSite content in SharePoint.

Prosperoware's SharePoint integration tool has the ability to synchronize WorkSite content with SharePoint and allow direct access to WorkSite content or links from SharePoint intranets and extranets. Other features include:

• SharePoint integration with a law firm's business intake, time and billing, or practice management system to automatically generate sites upon opening a matter.

• Foldering options and the ability to delete and recover files using a cross-site recycle bin.

• A set of SharePoint web parts for administrators who prefer the legacy approach to SharePoint-Worksite integration.

Specifications: Internet Information Services 6 or later; .NET 4.0 or later; SQL Server 2005 or later; SharePoint 2007 or later; Windows Server 2003 SP2 or later (virtual or physical); localization support; Firefox 8.01, Chrome 16, and IE 8.0 or later browsers.

Press release.
