WHILE YOU WERE OUT
A pair of major technology stories made headlines while the legal technology community converged in the Big Apple this week. First, smartphone maker Research In Motion announced long-awaited details of its next-generation BlackBerry products: the iPhone-esque Z10 will ship in March, followed by the keyboard model, called Q10, in April at about $200 with a contract or $600 unsubsidized. RIM also is dropping its corporate name in favor of simply "BlackBerry." Second, we're about to see Dell Inc. go private it looks like it will be acquired by investors, with Microsoft as a minority owner, according to Reuters.
