San Francisco-based e-disovery provider Recommind Inc. announced Wednesday that the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission has licensed the company's Axcelerate Review & Analysis platform to deploy it nationwide for its 1,200-staff Division of Enforcement.
The standout feature of Recommind's review software is its Predictive Coding technology, which brings automation into the document review process. A lead attorney or expert tags documents as responsive or non-responsive to train the e-discovery software to search for documents relevant to a matter.
Once the Axcelerate platform has been fully implemented, the federal regulatory agency's enforcement division will be able to search and analyze hundreds of terabytes of electronically stored information, according to the release.
