New sharing features in LA 3.5 will allow you to share content with colleagues outside of the firm. The new version also lets you access Lexis Practice Advisor and Verdicts and Settlements from the main user interface and save research results from LPA and Verdicts and Settlements to work folders.
A new output option lets you deliver documents to LexisNexis CaseMap as well as access the new MedMal Navigator from the LA user interface.
MEDMAL NAVIGATOR
The new MedMal Navigator product in LA 3.5 is designed for litigators to browse and search medical topics and content. The initial launch will cover six jurisdictions including California and New York. The Research Assistant compononent, which provides summary information to a dashboard component, includes features to assess value to malpractice cases, describe medical standards of care, conduct medical research, and research parties in a public records database as well as explore expert witness profiles from the Profile Suite database. See Figure 4.

Navigator content can be saved to work folders like LPA and Verdicts and Settlements and output can be delivered to users using the same mechanisms as LA.
LA 3.5 will also include the launch of Litigation Profile Suite to search for information on experts, judges, and attorneys. With LA analytics, the Profile Suite will bring together dynamic content to take a graphical snapshot of past performance and/or patterns of behavior that can affect your case.
A new "atleast" connector can be used to search for documents that contain, at least, an in-depth treatment of a subject. See Figure 5.
