Santa Monica, Calif.-based legal software provider Legal Suite has released a new Microsoft Office plug-in for its Legal Suite contract management application. The new plug-in enables you to add, search, and edit documents kept within the contract management application directly from Microsoft Excel or Word. Moreover, you no longer need to navigate away from Word or Excel to save files within Legal Suite under the right contract management folder.

This Windows-based plug-in supports Microsoft Office 2007 and 2010 and must be installed on a client PC's hard drive. Once you've installed the plug-in, both Word and Excel display a Legal Suite tab. From that tab, you press "Click here to login," and enter your Legal Suite username and password in the pop-up window.

The menu elements within the plug-in's tab also include a search window with such fields as "Module," "Date," "Title," and "Range," that lets you find and open your Legal Suite documents, along with an "Insert" element that lets you add files into your Legal Suite application.

Company: Legal Suite
Product: Microsoft Office Plugin for Legal Suite Contract Management
Availability: Now
Price: Depends on Legal Suite configuration
