Digital lawyers aren't always blessed by the receipt of digital invoices. Law firms and corporate legal departments wishing to speed the processing of paper invoices can turn to Prizm Capture from Accusoft Corporation, a Tampa, Fla.-based provider of document and imaging software.
Cloud-based Prizm Capture is designed to work with QuickBooks Online to extract data from paper invoices and post the results to QuickBooks. Users scan and upload invoices, verify the scanned output, then add the digital invoice data to designated expense accounts in QuickBooks. The software learns from the verification process, reducing the need to verify invoices with subsequent usage.
Prizm capture uses SSL encryption and is available from the online QuickBooks store.
