Thomson Reuters, a legal software and content provider, released its ProView eReader Platform version 1.5 for Apple Inc.'s iPad, Andoid-based tablets, and Microsoft Corp.'s Windows and Apple Mac desktop operating systems.
The ProView app makes available purchased ProView versions of books published by Thomson Reuters from the Bankruptcy Practice Handbook, 2d to the Federal Rules of Evidence to Will Contests on tablet and desktop computers in an easy-to-read format with hyperlink navigation to content, full-text search, note-taking tools, and more.
New ProView Reader features include additional navigation and search tools across titles and libraries and enhancements to note-taking:
color-coded notes and highlights;
a compass feature that supplies an orientation view within a title;
a running header to indicate your location within a title;
inline tabs to display content in tables;
search results from within any downloaded eBook in your ProView library; and
a word-wheel search tool to provide links to additional content.
The new ProView 1.5 is available in the U.S., Canada, and the U.K., as well as Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Chile, and Spain.
