Big Four accounting giant Ernst & Young has acquired the e-discovery division of Cataphora. E&Y officials sought Cataphora's visualization technology to handle increasingly large customer data sets. They plan to beef up the newly-acquired division's documentation and quality control so it's suitable for fraud evaluation. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
