Apple Relaunches Cloud Computing Service

Law Technology News

June 7, 2011

Apple's long-expected iCloud service will debut this fall. Unlike the existing $99-per-year MobileMe iDisk service, which CEO Steve Jobs acknowledged wasn't up to Apple quality standards, most parts of iCloud will be cost-free. Also, customers no longer have to synchronize via their computer, because iOS 5 devices will be directly connected to iCloud.
