Irvine, Calif.-based eDepoze, LLC, has announced the release of eDepoze deposition software, which combines a hosted document repository with an iPad interface to make the deposition process digital.

Users can import exhibits electronically and store them locally on their iPads, introduce exhibits on a document-by-document basis, and drag and drop files to share them with all interested parties.

All data is stored at a secure hosting facility, with servers co-located at cloud provider LayeredTech, providing a fully redundant infrastructure with failover and offsite backup. File transfers between iPads and eDepoze servers are encrypted using the HTTPS protocol with SSL certificates supporting 256-bit encryption.

eDepoze, LLC, is a partnership between litigator Shawn Kennedy, most recently at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius, and Mountain View, Calif.-based litigation support provider Advanced Discovery. The company is offering demonstrations of eDepoze at LegalTech New York from January 29 to 31 at the Hilton New York (exhibit hall, booth #2517).
