Dolphin Micro Inc., a Louisville, Colo.-based company that specializes in web design and development, has released Hours Tracking, a web-based time and billing application targeted at small businesses.

Using Hours Tracking, attorneys can enter billing data in real-time and switch projects with one click in the Recent Projects field, which stops the current timer and starts a new timer for the new task. Another feature called "Swap in the Past" allows users to adjust time entries when they forget to switch timers during interruptions. Users can also edit time entries and view at a glance how their billable time is applied in a simple Weekly Dashboard.

Dolphin Micro's Admin Dashboard features a one-click detailed breakdown of each attorney's workload. Hours summaries can be filtered by attorney, client, project, day, or week. The dashboard has a Summary Report feature to help answer client- and project-related questions. It also allows users to export data to accounting systems for payroll and invoicing and to Microsoft Excel for more detailed analysis.

Hours Tracking works in Microsoft Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, and Opera browsers. The app is priced at $1 per user, per month with a 30-day free trial offer.

Press release.
