Tech Circuit: Pax EditionLaw Technology News 12-21-2012 As has been our tradition, the year's end brings a chance to thank you for your continued support, passion, ideas, curiosity, arguments, encouragement, and humor. As always, Law Technology News — in all its configurations from print to digital — is dedicated to you, our wonderful legal technology community. This year's holidays have an undercurrent of profound sadness, with the unbearable horror of the Sandy Hook tragedy. I'm writing this at my cottage in rural Connecticut, and cannot even turn on the local news. I know I'm not alone in that reaction. There are no bright-line solutions to this madness, we all know that. But we simply have to start taking the steps, and there are many, to address this epidemic. In honoring the 26, let's each take actions, large or small. Too many have been killed, too many families shattered senselessly. Tech Circuit will return on January 2. As always, I hope that the holidays provide respite and refreshment. I wish you joys small and large; noise soft and loud; enough silence; an abundance of kindness and as little anger as possible; music always; corduroy; a dog at your feet and a cat in your lap; a starry night; the company of someone you genuinely like; and at least one heaping spoonful of peppermint ice cream.
