Kochhar Adds Two Partners in Delhi

Delhi-based Kochhar & Co. has hired two new partners from local rivals. Nishant Menon, who joins from Dua Associates, is a civil and corporate commercial litigator. Neeraj Grover, who joins from Zeus IP, will head an IP litigation practice for Kochhar. The two are the latest in a series of partner hires by Kochhar & Co.

London-based Eversheds has hired a managing partner and a special counsel for its new Beijing office. A specialist in energy-related transactions, Ingrid Zhu-Clark joins as Beijing office head from Morgan Lewis; she headed Dewey & LeBoeuf's Beijing office for over a decade. Special counsel Jay Ze joins from Spanish law firm Uria Menendez.

Quinn Emanuel has announced plans to open a Hong Kong office with a partner recruited from Korean law firm Kim & Chang. John Rhie will relocate to Hong Kong to become head of the firm's Asia international arbitration practice, pending approval by the Hong Kong Law Society. The firm said it would also relocate New York partner Carey Ramos.
