A federal appeals court has affirmed an 87-month prison sentence and a $508,000 restitution order for a Chinese citizen who pleaded guilty to distributing counterfeit prescription medication. More than $417,000 of the restitution is slated for the pharmaceutical company GlaxoSmithKline, which makes the genuine drug.
