Cleveland, Ohio-based Squire, Sanders & Dempsey, which has 32 offices worldwide, has let go of 32 attorneys and cut first-year associate pay by 10 percent, reports the Cleveland Plain Dealer. First-year associate salaries will drop from $130,000 to $117,000 per year as of May 1. It's the third round of layoffs at the firm, which also cut 22 associates and eight paralegals in November and nine employees in its Miami office in January.
