Locke Lord Adds Five More in Hong Kong
The Asian Lawyer
Locke Lord has added two new partners and three of counsels to its Hong Kong office.
Adrian Taylor and Michael Fung are joining the Dallas-based firm as partners from the Hong Kong offices of Squire Sanders and Loeb & Loeb, respectively. New of counsels Stephen Lo, King Hui and Roger Wong are joining Locke Lord from K&L Gates, where Lo was a partner and Hui and Wong were of counsels.
The moves come just two months after Locke Lord brought aboard five Hong Kong partners through an association with local firm Cheung & Lee.
Taylor is a litigator who focuses on international disputes related to trust and taxation issues. He joined Squire Sanders in 2010 from Hong Kong firm Oldham, Li & Nie, where he was also a partner. Fung specializes in corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions. He joined Loeb & Loeb last year when the firm took over a Hong Kong practice formerly associated with Salans.
Lo focuses on commercial litigation, while Wong and Hui are both corporate lawyers.
With the latest additions, Locke Lord will count 11 lawyers in its Hong Kong office. The firm has around 650 lawyers in total.
