Pinsent Masons Hires Tech Partner in Singapore

Pinsent Masons has hired a new partner to spearhead a technology, media and telecommunications practice in Singapore.
Bryan Tan will be joining the U.K. firm in May from Singapore's eight-lawyer Keystone Law Corp., where he was founding partner and director. He advises on a range of matters with technology aspects, including divestments and financings of telecommunications businesses, acquisitions of software companies, and the drafting of information technology contracts
Tan says he is bringing two associates and one trainee with him. Keystone will carry on with a five-lawyer team headed by real estate lawyer Chan Yee Min.
He founded Keystone in 2004. Prior to that, he was an associate at Rajah & Tann for two years. Earlier in his career, Tan worked at Baker & McKenzie, Tan Peng Chin, and Allen & Gledhill.
According to the firm's website, Pinsent Masons has six lawyers, including four partners, in its Singapore office. The firm has more than 1,700 lawyers and 10 offices worldwide.
