St. Mary's University School of Law instructor Rosanne Piatt's days at the school are numbered, despite high student ratings she received in a fall 2008 evaluation. Piatt alleges in claims filed with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and a state agency that the Texas law school's decision to terminate her contract is due to age and gender bias. She also says that the school retaliated against her based on her husband's act of filing an unrelated EEOC claim against the school when he was dean.
