2nd Circuit Forms Committee to Address Grievances Against Attorneys

The 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals has formed a new seven-person committee to handle grievances against attorneys, a move officials said signals a more proactive role in evaluating ethics issues. The Committee on Admissions and Grievances will be chaired by Michael B. Mukasey, a partner at Patterson Belknap Webb & Tyler and former chief judge of the Southern District of New York.
