Righthaven, LLC, trolls the Web for articles taken from newspapers or magazines, and then seeks the copyright on the articles. Once these are secured, Righthaven’s founder, Steven Gibson (a partner at Dickinson & Wright in Las Vegas), sues the Web site that carried the postings.
