A federal judge in Texas last week dismissed nearly all of the Securities and Exchange Commission’s backdating claims against the former general counsel and CEO of Microtune Inc., saying that the statute of limitations had run out.
The decision (pdf) by U.S. District Court Judge Jane J. Boyle has the SEC’s lawyers wishing they could do a little backdating of their own.
