While BP PLC may have managed to cap the broken well that sent oil spewing into the Gulf of Mexico for 87 days, the legal fallout from the spill is far from contained. BP is facing a steady stream of lawsuits, already estimated at over 250. One lawyer overseeing the legal cleanup is John (“Jack”) Lynch, the company’s U.S. general counsel.
