The Recorder

The Recorder Public Notices

Public Notices provide an important way for the public to access accurate and verifiable information about government activities. The Recorder serves citizens of San Francisco and San Mateo counties with public notice information on a variety of topics, including Trustee Sales (foreclosures), Probate, Summons, Name Changes and Fictitious Business Names, and more.

The Recorder weekly newspaper meets the Public Notice requirement or statute under the Californian Law Code for San Francisco and San Mateo counties.

The Recorder also serves its clients by filing necessary documents with the Court or City agencies, and we can place these notices in other area qualified publications.

For more information and details, please call our Public Notice Dept. at 415.490.9991 or send an email to Public Notices.
