Curtis Graham has joined Littler Mendelson as a shareholder in the firm's Los Angeles office. Previously a partner with FordHarrison, Graham brings extensive class action and single-plaintiff litigation expertise to Littler. He received a J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law in 2001. Accompanying Graham to Littler is senior associate Michelle Rapoport. Rapoport concentrates her practice on employment litigation, including discrimination and harassment claims, wrongful termination and wage and hour matters. She earned her J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law in 2006.
Brian Kintz and Fernando Landa are joining Crosbie Gliner Schiffman Southard & Swanson as partners. Both lawyers are coming from Allen Matkins. Kintz will focus on transactional real estate matters. He earned his J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 1997. Landa's practice will focus on a broad range of real estate matters, with an emphasis on the development, acquisition, disposition, leasing and management of commercial real estate. Landa received his J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law in 2008.
Lili Jalali and Aaron Rothrock joined Archer Norris' Southern California offices as associates. Jalali supports the insurance and litigation practices in Archer Norris' Newport Beach office, representing owners, developers, subcontractors, general contractors and material suppliers. She received her J.D. from Whittier Law School in 2006. Rothrock joined the firm's environmental and litigation groups, representing clients in products liability, tort liability and environmental law matters. Rothrock received his J.D. from the University of Idaho College of Law in 2012.
Franklin Kang joined McGuireWoods' intellectual property litigation group as a partner in Los Angeles. Kang joins the firm from DLA Piper's Los Angeles office, where he was a partner in the IP litigation Group and Korea practice. He received his J.D. from Cornell Law School in 1997.
Juan Araneda and Helen McFarland have been named partners in the San Francisco office of Meckler Bulger Tilson Marick & Pearson. Araneda and McFarland focus their practices in employment litigation and counseling for a broad range of California employers, professionals, insurers and businesses. Araneda received his J.D. from Golden Gate University School of Law in 2000. McFarland received her J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law in 2001.
Loeb & Loeb has elected Nicholas Van Brunt to the partnership in Los Angeles. Van Brunt focuses his practice on trusts and estates litigation. His typical client matters include will and trust contests, breach of fiduciary duty cases, trustee accounting disputes, conservatorship proceedings, and civil matters involving the intersection between probate and trust law and other legal areas. He received his J.D. from George Washington University Law School in 2004.
