Susan Brown has joined Ram, Olson, Cereghino & Kopczynski as an associate. Most recently at Chavez & Gertler, Brown will work in the firm's class action, First Amendment/intellectual property and construction defect litigation practices. She graduated from University of Toronto Faculty of Law in 2009.
Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton has added Mehul Shah as an associate on the electronics and software team in the intellectual property department. Shah, who was previously at Toler Law Group, focuses on domestic and international patent and prosecution in various fields. He earned his J.D. from Southwestern Law School in 2010.
Douglas Bria has joined Littler Mendelson as a shareholder. Bria, formerly with Jackson Lewis, focuses on employment litigation matters, including class actions and complex litigation, e-discovery, general employment litigation and wage-and-hour compliance. He is a 2003 graduate of UC-Hastings College of the Law.
Rossi, Hamerslough, Reischl & Chuck in San Jose has added Madolyn Orr as an associate. Orr, who was previously with McCurdy & Fuller, will focus on business and real estate litigation, particularly bankruptcy and insurance matters as they relate to real property. She received her J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law in 2011.
Corporate transactional and finance attorney Michael Rosner has joined Los Angeles' Sklar Kirsh as a partner in the firm's corporate department. Rosner was formerly general counsel and executive vice president of Relativity Media. He graduated from UC-Berkeley School of Law in 1993.
Kaufman Dolowich & Voluck has added Vincent Green as a partner in its Los Angeles office. Most recently with Nemecek & Cole, Green defends professional liability and errors and omissions claims in a variety of industries including legal malpractice. He earned his J.D. from Washburn University School of Law in 1978.
Joanna Allen, Mindy Hsu and Jie Lian have joined Los Angeles-based Ideal Legal Group Inc. as associates.
Allen, who was previously with the Law Offices of Jose Perez, focuses on civil litigation, family law and contractual disputes. She is a 2010 graduate of Southwestern Law School.
Hsu, who formerly served as a law clerk at the Children's Law Center in Monterey Park, has experience in legal research, discovery requests, drafting complaints and other administrative responsibilities. She graduated from Southwestern Law School in 2012.
Lian, most recently at The Law Offices of Paul P. Cheng & Associates, focuses on contract, fraud and employment law litigation. He received his J.D. from University of Minnesota Law School in 2010.
McInerney & Dillon in Oakland has elected Neil Bui to the partnership. Bui focuses on construction litigation, representing general contractors, owners, sureties, subcontractors and design professionals in all aspects of claims involving large-scale private developments, commercial and residential, and public works. He is a 2001 graduate of UC-Hastings College of the Law.
