SAN FRANCISCO
UC-Hastings law professor William Dodge has been named one of eight reporters for the American Law Institute's Restatement (Fourth) of Foreign Relations Law. The multiyear project will begin with three topics: jurisdiction and enforcement, treaties and sovereign immunity. Dodge, an authority on extraterritorial jurisdiction, will focus on the first topic. He teaches international business transactions and contracts and graduated from Yale Law School in 1991.
David Goetz has joined Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton as an associate. Goetz, a member of the firm's health and life sciences team, received his J.D. from UC-Berkeley School of Law in 2012.

Best Best & Krieger has elected partner Stacey Sheston to the firm's executive committee for a two-year term, effective immediately. Sheston, who focuses on employment law, is a 1996 graduate of UC-Davis School of Law.
HMS Law Group has added Daniel Custodio as of counsel. Previously in-house counsel with Numonyx Inc. and Micron Technology Inc., Custodio's practice focuses on intellectual property and he is a registered patent attorney. He graduated from Pacific McGeorge School of Law in 2007.
SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA
Sidney Kanazawa has been inducted into the Litigation Counsel of America. Kanazawa, a partner in McGuireWoods' Los Angeles office, focuses on product liability and mass torts, class action litigation, environmental litigation, financial services litigation, food safety law and health care litigation. He earned his J.D. from University of Southern California School of Law in 1978.
Jennifer Seigle has joined McKenna Long & Aldridge's Los Angeles office as an associate. Seigle, who recently passed the July bar exam, is a member of the litigation practice. She graduated from Southwestern Law School.
Jeffrey Beaumont has been admitted to the College of Community Association Lawyers. Beaumont, a senior partner with Beaumont Gitlin Tashjian in Woodland Hills, represents common interest developments throughout Southern California and the central coast in general counsel, dispute resolution, risk management, collections and litigation matters. He is a 1999 graduate of University of La Verne College of Law.

Germano, who is based in the Riverside office, focuses on employment law. She graduated from Loyola Law School in 1990.
Hagerty is the city attorney for Santee in San Diego County and also focuses on water quality law. He received his J.D. in 1995 from University of Wisconsin Law School.
Marks, Finch, Thornton & Baird in San Diego has added Richard Pinto II and Kelly Floyd as associates. Pinto and Floyd, who completed the firm's summer 2011 program and recently passed the July bar exam, will focus on construction law and federal procurement and claims. Both lawyers graduated from University of San Diego School of Law.

Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman has elected six lawyers to the partnership in California, effective Jan. 1.
Marc Axelbaum, who is based in San Francisco, is a general litigator who focuses on white-collar criminal defense, SEC enforcement actions and corporate investigations, as well as commercial and constitutional litigation. He graduated from Columbia Law School in 1998.
Melinda Barker, who is based in Palo Alto, is a member of the estates, trusts and tax planning group. She earned her J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law in 2004 and her LL.M. in taxation from Golden Gate University School of Law in 2007.
Mariah Brandt, who is based in Los Angeles, focuses on complex and commercial litigation as well as intellectual property and privacy matters. She is a 2002 graduate of UCLA School of Law.
Mark Jones, who is based in Los Angeles, focuses on qualified retirement plans, health and welfare plans, and equity compensation arrangements for domestic and international clients. He graduated from Stanford Law School in 1999.
David Lillevand, who is based in San Francisco, represents clients in a range of complex and strategic areas, including cross-border and domestic capital markets transactions, private equity fund formation and emerging company needs, as well as public debt and equity offerings. He received his J.D./MBA from University of San Francisco School of Law in 1998.
Eric Save, who is based in San Francisco, focuses on Latin American transactions including acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, cross-border lending, manufacturing, real property acquisition and development, telecommunications services and distribution agreements. He is a 1999 graduate of Columbia Law School.
