SAN FRANCISCO — Bingham McCutchen has cherry-picked three partners from different firms to form the foundation of its Silicon Valley tax practice.
Robert Kirschenbaum, formerly a partner at Miller & Chevalier; Beth Williams, a partner from Baker & McKenzie; and John Ryan, previously a partner at McDermott Will & Emery, will be joining the firm’s East Palo Alto office in mid-August, said Bingham partner William Nelson. Bingham expanded its tax practice in 2009 when it merged with 120-attorney firm McKee Nelson, which was known for its tax, financial regulation and capital markets work.
