San Francisco Superior Court has spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on expenses and services that were either questionable or should have been paid for by the county, according to an audit made public by the Judicial Council today.

The 160-page report, compiled by the state Administrative Office of the Courts, uncovered 34 “reportable” issues with the court’s operations in 2009, including 26 deemed significant enough to alert court management. Some of the problems still existed after they were originally flagged in a 2005 audit.
