Two and a half years ago, Paul DiSangro left Mayer Brown to head up Nixon Peabody’s West Coast tax practice. His venture didn’t last long.

The deputy practice group leader of Nixon’s global tax group is rejoining Mayer Brown on March 7 as a partner in Palo Alto. He’ll be the sixth tax controversy lawyer in the firm’s Northern California offices. Mayer Brown has about 50 attorneys in the niche practice nationwide.
