SACRAMENTO — Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger appointed 13 trial court judges late Tuesday, including five in San Francisco and three in Alameda County.
Veteran criminal defense attorney James Collins, perhaps best known for representing former police officer Alex Fagan Jr. in the fajitagate saga, was named to the San Francisco bench. The Greenbrae resident fills the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Diane Wick.
