SAN JOSE � Karyn Sinunu will take a leave of absence from the Santa Clara district attorney’s office to concentrate full time on her campaign to become the county’s next top prosecutor.
Sinunu, the DA office’s current chief assistant, confirmed this week she intends to stay out of the office through the November election.
