In the legal war of words over the right to publish a Harry Potter lexicon, author J.K. Rowling didn't come unarmed Monday. Rowling employed a sharp tongue to charge that a publisher borrowed much from her wildly successful works and added nothing when it created a lexicon listing characters, creatures and objects in the Potter series. Rowling told a packed courtroom that the alleged infringer may have jeopardized her own longtime plans to produce a Potter encyclopedia and give the proceeds to charity.
