Cozen O'Connor and Wolf Block End Merger Discussions

Cozen O'Connor and Wolf Block announced late Tuesday they would not continue their preliminary merger talks. "As with many merger discussions between major firms, business and structural differences made completing a transaction too difficult," the firms said in their joint statement. Said Cozen O'Connor Chairman Stephen A. Cozen in an interview, "it wasn't a question of not trying." The combined firm would have had more than 800 attorneys.
