Drug Case Undermined by Mobile Video in Police Vehicle

An automatic mobile video recording system installed in a police vehicle to capture evidence of arrests and shield officers from false allegations has undermined an upstate drug case by establishing that a trooper had no legal right to stop and search a suspect's car, a federal appeals court has found.
