The legal sector shed 1,100 positions in April, according to the latest employment report released by the Bureau of Labor Statistics. It marked the second month in a row of four-digit losses for that group. Since April of last year, the legal sector has lost a total of roughly 28,000 jobs. The latest legal job figures contrast with the overall addition of 290,000 jobs to the U.S. economy last month.
