Arent Fox lawyer Joe Price, his domestic partner Victor Zaborsky and their former roommate Dylan Ward have been indicted on obstruction of justice charges in connection with the slaying of lawyer Robert Wone, who was found stabbed to death in their Dupont Circle home two years ago.

The indictment comes three weeks after Ward was arrested in Miami-Dade County, Fla., on charges related to the Aug. 2, 2006, slaying. At the time of his death, Wone had recently left affidavit filed with Ward's arrest warrant, police said Wone was "restrained, incapacitated, sexually assaulted, and stabbed" to death.

The affidavit concluded that there was "overwhelming evidence, far in excess of probable cause," that all three men obstructed justice by "altering and orchestrating the crime scene, planting evidence, delaying the reporting of the murder to the authorities, and lying to the police about the true circumstances of the murder."

Price turned himself in Thursday morning and is expected to be arraigned in D.C. Superior Court at around 4 p.m. Thursday, according to a spokesman for U.S. Attorney Jeffrey Taylor. Ward is awaiting extradition and is expected to be arraigned next week. Zaborsky is expected to be arraigned later this week.

The men have told police they believe an intruder broke into their townhouse on Swann Street NW and attacked Wone. He had planned to stay the night at Price's, rather than commute home to Oakton, Va., because he knew he'd be working late. Wone and Price were friends from their days at the College of William & Mary.

Price has been on administrative leave from Arent Fox since Oct. 31, the day the arrest warrant affidavit was made public, said firm spokesman Steve Harras.
